During the summer, a fiberglass pool can be eight to ten degrees warmer than a plaster pool. Fiberglassing a plaster pool creates a waterproof shell by filling in any existing cracks on the pool surface. The process requires five steps to complete. First, we treat all visible flaws and cracks. Second, we apply a primer coat of isophalic resign. Third, we laminate the total area with fiberglass mat and resign. Fourth, we apply a third coat of isophalic resign, and lastly, we apply a final coat of gel. The end result leaves you with a pool that looks clean, durable, and is easy to maintain.
